Autumn has begun in the southern hemisphere of Mars. As the sun retreats northward frost will begin to accumulate. The frost-free floor of this crater, with it's intricate texture, will soon be hidden. Due to Mars' orbit, the seasons are twice as long as on Earth - so it will be a full earthyear before this crater floor is exposed again.
