Chaotic terrain, arcuate fractures and erosional remanents make up the bulk of geologic features within this Themis VIS image. The arcuate fractures and chaotic terrain could possibly have formed due to a volitile rich subsurface layer being changed by erosion/exposure causing the upper lying surface to fracture and collapse.
